    Hello
I am installing a hands free kit into my car, I was wondering what sort of wattage speaker will I need to get a clear sound when speaking to someone through the hands free system?

    Kind regards

500 mw will be more than enough if your speaker is reasonably efficient and you are not driving a convertible with the top down.

The wattage of the speaker just needs to be greater than the audio amplifier output maximum power.

    I don't get it.

If you want clear sound when speaking to someone you need a noise cancelling microphone, not a speaker.
