I really want to build this off camera flash strobe for my new camera but am a little confused. I would be really great full if any of you could have a look.

I know they use Xenon tubes as with virtually all flashes.
What components would I need and how would I put them together?

There are more details posted on your link than you are likely to get here without more specific questions, and more detailed specifications for what you need. So far you said you want to build something, and left us to assume you also want it to WORK.

Note that the circuit posted connects directly to mains power and as such is not supported here. It's dangerous.
