    Hi.
I´m working with the MC34119 chip. I the respective diagram are a black box titled "Bias Circuit" connected to pin 1.
I´m trying of modellate this chip into a major circuit.
I would like to know what circuit is in that black box.
    Thanks

A digital logic circuit with TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic Thresholds) that allows the chip to operate normally when CD(pin 1) < 0.8 VDC, or puts the chip in power down mode when CD (pin 1) > 2.0 VDC. In between those two levels is a kind of electronic no-mans land where the behavior is not characterized. Transition between those levels normally take place in a couple of nanoseconds.
