Hey guys,

I'm working on a project, and I'm running into some mathematical problems. I need some help deriving the diode current. It's been a few years since I've worked with differential equations so please bear with me. So far this is what I have gathered:

Equation 1 gives the steady state value, where Le is the minority-carrier diffusion length, and Equation 2 is the general solution of Equation 1.

I have also determined the boundary conditions, which are given by equations 3 & 4.

I suppose the biggest issue here is not the theory, but just how to go about finding an equation for the diode current. Again, it has been a while since I have last seen this.

Any help is welcome and appreciated.:)
