For projects class i am looking to build a digital thermometer. It needs to have a peice of originality and for this i was going to do a switch between celcius and farenheit.

I was looking to use IC's for this and know there is the Lm34 and 35. Anyone know where to find a schematic for this. I also am unsure if LCD display or LED.....

Any other helpul items for this would be greatly appreciated.

I have been doing research online looking for schematics and additional ideas. Is it possible to build a thermometer with a PCP and IC without the use of microcontrollers?

Would making double the led indicators and adding a switch and ls34 for farenheit complete a project like this?
