digital electronics. What if some inputs are absent in Karnaugh map?

    how to solve the karnaugh map if certain combinations of inputs don't appear in the practical circuit. For example, in my circuit the input combination(it is a 4-input map) 0000 and 0010 are absent.

    Hi ranjeetyadav, welcome to the forums.

    If the input is never present for some state then the output for that state may be taken as a "don't care."
