Back when I was taking the MicroComputer Electronics class, we had to build a single board computer. It is based on the Intel 8088 processor. I have dug it back out, and hope to experiment some with it, after I fix it back up.
(When I built it, I wire-wrapped it six different times and it still didn't work. The instructor finally gave me another processor to try, and it started right up...)
