Difference between CD4511 and 74LS47

sorry but i'm only 16 and english is not my native language.
can you please tell me the difference between 4511 and 7447 in a few sentences?

Hello,

As said the 4511 is CMOS technology that can be used between 5 and 15 Volts and has a latch (buffer) in the decoder chip available.



The 7447 is TTL technology that only can be used on 5 Volts and has only a decoder inside.

As a beginner, you also need to know that 7447 uses a common-anode 7-segment LED while 4511 uses a common-cathode 7-segment LED for display.
