Q: Determine the phasor current I1 and I2 in the circuit of the figure
Ans: I1=3.578\(\angle86.57^{\circ}\)
Following is my solution, I don't know what I have done wrong, but the answer is different with the ones provided by the book.
20\(\angle60^{\circ}\)=(5+j5)I1-j6I2+j3I2-j6I1=(5-j)I1-j3I2
j2I2-j6I1+j3I1=0
j2I2=j3I1
(5-j5.5)I1=20\(\angle60^{\circ}\)
That should lead me to I1=2.69\(\angle107.726^{\circ}\)
Did I did anything wrong? Please help!
