OK. Not getting it right at all.

Can you give me the collector and base currents so that I can compare to my calculations?

For some reason it is not working out.

You already have the Base and Collector Currents
ie:
The Base current is [2.7v - 0.7v]/Rb,, 2V/20K = 0.1mA

The Collector current is Irc - Ib,, 10mA - 0.1mA = 9.9mA

So hFE = Ic/Ib = .............

So why do you think your answer is wrong.? What do you expect it to be.???
