Hi,

I have been asked to design a 4-bit synchronous counter using D Flip-Flops and 2:1 Mux. Can somebody guide me please.

Why not get the data sheets for a 7474 and a 74157 and see what comes to mind? Those devices are obsolete, but a D flip flop is a D flip flop, same for a quad 2 to 1 miltiplexer. You can also get the data sheet on a 74161 counter.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking at the design part. Will the circuit diagram be available in these datasheets
