I would like to suggest a design and repair forum. The forum would have tips and tricks for design and repair. Similar to the Tips and Tricks thread but since it will be it's own forum, it will be easier to browse.
I think lots of useful information could be contained in this forum. For example, someone just gave a fantastic explanation of use of decoupling capacitors. And I just finished troubleshooting a problem with my scope and gathered a number of valuable resources.
To be useful, I think that only the more senior members or perhaps mods should be able to post to the forum. Responses to individual by other senior members or mods, would be limited and only pertinent to the subject of the thread.
Any other members would be able to post new threads but these would have to be approved by mods or senior members before the thread can appear.
Perhaps subforums could be created for micro-controllers, RF etc.
Maybe even a sub-forum on selecting and / or building test equipment?
I think this would be more useful then a bunch of sticky threads.
