I was solving the circuit and i was bound to use Thevenin theorem.In that circuit I got two voltage sources one dependent and other independent so can I ignore the dependent voltage source using superposition theorem?

 

No ,you cannot remove the dependent source when you use superposition theorem.Use nodal analysis and solve for the voltages and substitute
(voltage across the 6 ohm )/6 for ix and solve .
