You should be able to delete your OP and edit the subject line as long as there are no posts to the thread.

Before I was a moderator I could do this. You can't?

Go to Edit, find Delete, and select it.
I thought you used to be able to but I am not seeing a delete option.

And I thought you could correct the title after posting.

I can delete posts other than the OP, like this one. I have the option to delete.

You should be able to change the title of a thread, but that may be a moderator function.

I am pretty sure the delete function is in there, though with some of the changes it may have been hosed.

When I get a chance I will check it out using some testing accounts I have set up.

Hello,

I am sure that the delete and edit functions are disabled for new members ( < 10 posts ).
After that all functions are given free, like edit the profile.

The admins have been playing with the site a bit lately. They may have made a few changes there.

Hey, it's not like we mods have something else to do other than fulfill delete requests.

Generally if a reason is given, and it is legit, I will honor a post/thread deletion request, or a name change request. There really is such a thing as TMI (Too Much Information).

Beenthere done that for me more than once.
