i would like help with a delay switch circuit for an extracter fan. when you switch on the fan, it must come on immediately, when you switch it off it should switch off after 10 minutes. using an ordinary single lever switch.

Are you talking about an ordinary wall mount lighting-type switch? I've never seen a standalone switch to do this. There are plenty of "delay-on-break" modules that could be used "with" that type of switch. Google: delay on break module

Search for "off delay" timer. Millions out there. eBay has a kit for $14. I've used some Artisan timers before, never had a problem. But I don't know their price.
