deactivating a 555 timer

i bought a conair sound machine for white sound but it has a 555timer that makes it shut off after an hour. i would like to know how to either deactivate it without breaking the time machine or how to remove it safely so the machine stays on untill i decide to shut it off. ive been reseaching it for a few hours now but i dont have the understanding to do this without help. any help would be great thank you
