dc voltage regulator 130 volt to 28 volt

    Hello every one. need help I have searched just about every electronis web site and have had no luck on this. I sure could use some help. Thanks

    You didn't say how much current you need at 28v.

    If it is very low current, there are a few linear regulators that you might use.

    If it's anything over 50mA or so, you'll need to use a DC-DC converter circuit, which will require the use of inductors and/or transformers and suitable ICs.

    Too bad it starts out as DC, that's going to make it more difficult but a switching regulator will do the job.
