Dc train motor

hello,

i made electric model train of 5kg

i used 12 v dc motor 60 rpm
train also include internal led lighting

but it can not able to take load of train

can u tell me plz how much rpm or how much voltage motor required to take load of my train

so, u mean to say 180 rpm motor will be able to carry this 5kg load..?

also tell me i have to seperate power supply from led and motor or single is working.?

What does that means?
Do you want to know that if you need two power supply or a single one....if yes ,then it depends on your circuit ,both will work

12 V X 2 A = 24 W; motor turns at about 3000 RPM ; gear reduction around 17:1 to give 180 RPM of drive wheels, or about 3 miles per hour. A single 12 V 4 A power supply should do.

My guess was 12 V @ 2 A for motor. RPM and gear train will depend on motor. Motor will be about 1.5 in dia. X 2 in long, [ that is a big about].
Power supply 12 @ about 4 A. Do you have more information on train?

no i have not more information but i want more about motor, as well as my train lighting circuit , if u help me then its good for me.
