DC Shunt Motor

    A shunt motor rotated a constant mechanical load at 895 rpm. The motor has the following parameters: RA=0.24Ω RF=165Ω PMECH=265W.When a voltage of 180v is applied to the motor the armature current IA=12.4A. Calculate the speed and efficiency of the motor if 240v was applied.

    Cant seem to get going on this one, anyone help?

    Review the question once..it s probably wrong....how could a shunt motor with 0.24 Ra with applied voltage of 180v have a Ia of 12.4A
