DC power supply circuit for +9V -9V and +12V what is needed are 2 power supplies both switch mode and they must both be regulated I have looked at using IC's 7809, 7909, 7812 but they are inefficient the Power supply in is 4X 3.7V 3000mamp lithium ion cells =14.8V

Jeeeeeeeeeez..

Why can't these new members ever find time to explain what they want in a bit of more detail that makes sense.
But nooOo!!!.

I have this, & I want that. stop...

Nair. Be clear on what you like and be polite. Give more info on what you have too.

The 78xx and 79xx are NOT switching type regulators, they are linear.

How much electronic design/electronics assembly experience do you have? This isn't going to be a small project.

Hmm I am not electronics trained or work in this field but it was easy to find out how from a Google search the Data sheet for a LM2595 1A or LM 2596 3A shows it all both for + and - supply A very simple circuit.

Instead of focusing on the parts, what do you need for a supply, voltages and current?

What are your input options for this supply?

We will work from there to get the simplest yet useful Power Supply that fits your needs.
