I need some guidelines on the experiment attached. I did this experiment quite a long time ago and forgot the outcome.

If I am understanding correctly, an integral is introduced to eliminate the oscillations in motor speed. How will the values of armature current and speed show this from the table if my statement is correct?

Integral control tends to have a de-stabilizing influence. It is added to the speed control loop with the goal of reducing the steady state speed error [|demand speed - actual speed|] to zero.

The introduction of Integral control may require an adjustment [reduction] in P control gain to reduce closed loop oscillations which might result from the addition of I control.
