When I downloaded the PDF for the DC book, The date said that it was last updated in 2006. I was wondering if that was in fact true or if the site is more recent? If so could a PDF of the most up-to-date information be made?

Actually you are looking at specific sections. Some are more recent than others, but the base book is pretty old. It is why Tony Kuphaldt, the author, wrote the book and turned it over to a specialized release similar to, but not the same, as open source. You can copy, print, give away the book, but you can not own it outright.

I have updated several sections. We have several members with the title of EBook Developers on this site, it is what we do.
