    Hi,

I have a friend that has been trying to get a CS4334 DAC to TPA6021A4 AMP working and is having a great deal of clipping. TI will not help, just said to post information to their forum.

I was hoping someone here would take a look and let me know what he might be doing wrong.

He has jpg's (scope traces) and description posted there.

Thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated.

The audio amp is flea-power. It clips when its outputs are only 1W into 8 ohms. Then each of its speaker wires has only 4V peak-to-peak. Your clipped outputs might be 4V peak-to-peak but I cannot see the 'scope settings.

Note that this is a bridged amplifier. Each speaker wire has a maximum of 4V peak-to-peak of signal on it.
