    Hi

    Not a very descriptive title because everytime I try to post I lose my message, apparantly some bug in BB software?

    I am having trouble reading current with my multimeter and as I am a novice I am probably doing something wrong.

    I have posted 2 pictures.
    first one shows me using multimeter as a continuity tester in series

    second one shows me trying to use it to read current in series but not getting a reading from 200mA or 20mA DC

    I am just lighting an LED with a 9V battery

    Can anyone help please.

    make a short title, immediately after you post go back to the forum and double click beside your title, you will be able to edit it to be longer but there is like a 30 second time limit before you are no longer able to change it.

    It doesn't look as though led is illuminated in picture.

    No power to circuit.
    Or:
    No current thru meter because of;
    Blown fuse or shunt.
    Probes connected to wrong inputs.
