Given a 60 hz series circuit with a capacitive device having an impedance of Z=8-j9 ohms and an inductor having an inductance of 0.01327 and a resistance of 4 ohms, what is the current due to a 30 V signal?

capacitor impedance=8-j9 ohm

inductor impedance=j*2*pi*f*L=5 ohm

resistor impedance=4 ohm

Add the above impedances by using complex numbers, then convert the result into polar form and finally divide the voltage by the magnitude of the total impedance to find the current. If you want find the angle too.
