Current sensing in BLDC motor drive

hi....friends...am designing a 22kW inverter-fed BLDC motor drive for automotive applications. Does anyone know the equation/formula to calculate the inverter output, switch currents?...I am planning to use Hall-effect sensors...To decide the rating of the sensors, i need the values of these currents. Let me know if you could help.
