does the current not go the other way in the full wave rectifier circuit, diodes are working backwards like zener diodes?

can u not just answer my question? i have an electronics test tomorrow and although everyone is saying its gonna be half wave rectifiction id still like to know if im right or wrong? please and thank u in advance
