    With a precision sense of balance. Not just gyroscopic, it knows its position and angle and can truly balance accordingly.

    Pretty cool. I bet it would take quite a while to walk across mars like that though.

    Imagine showcasing such a machine 2 centuries ago. They would take you for an alchemist holding the philosopher's stone. 6 centuries ago and they would burn you on the stake.

    Today, a couple of PhDs with a team of grad students can pull this off. Maybe even with less.
