Hi,

I am new to electronics and attempting to manufacture my own PCB. I have created a simple circuit using multisim, then drew the PCB layout using ultiboard. The problem I am having is the printing of the circuit, I want to use a print out to transfer the circuit onto a light sensitive copper board. When I preview or print my circuit it is incredibly small, and does not seem to match the dimensions shown on the computer. Any advice would be much appertained.

Regards,

Jay

A check I often use is to print out first on paper. Then place some of the most critical components on top of the paper. To see how well they match. You could have a scaling problem. But this simple test will trap such errors

I also do something like that. Here's a picture from the early days.
