    Hi all,

I am just reading through the standards now and wondering how I define an uncoated lead to a conformally coated trace.

For clearances IPC2221 speaks of coated/uncoated conductors/leads but doesn't clearly define a mixture of the two?

IEC creapage clearances only speak of the clearances and don't define anything concerning conformal coating etc.. Is it to be assumed that it only speaks of creapages between bare conductors? Or is it to be assumed that the clearances must be adhered to regardless of coating?
