    Hey guys,
    I need to design a circuit that will provide current for a certain number of hours and then cut off the current for 1 minute, and repeat. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    It needs to provide current for 4 hours and shut off for 1 min. It is to control a device.

    What is that device?
    From where it gets its power?
    Can you use a relay to control it?

    How accurate do the 4 hours and 1 minute intervals need to be? microseconds, seconds, minutes, or parts per thousand, etc.

    What voltage (AC or DC) and current (or wattage) does the device require?

    For a :rolleyes: certain hours kind of obscure statement. Do you know oe not? Any how a lm555 can do that. Info is all over the internet on this chip.
