The American company is located in South Florida ,the ship is owned by the

owner of the Miami Heat basket ball team. They may shall box seats ,thus the

big contract. @ Joe ,you only come out for big events or do you come to town by mule.

I remember it was reality TV series from that ship. They followed the daily life for the workers on the ship.

    Time lapse video:

@loosewire Sorry I haven't been around much, I traded my mule for a girlfriend. Girlfriend couldn't carry the heavy sugar bags for the 'shine still so I had to trade the girlfriend for a wheelbarrow. Broke the handle on the wheelbarrow, took the wheelbarrow to town for fixin' but traded for a mule. Teaching the mule to cook has been much tougher than I thought.

The best coverage up to now that from the Daily Mail.

The Cambridge Free English Dictionary online proposed "parboil" when asked for "parbuckling". :p Such is life...

Wish I was involved in the operation. I can imagine how Sloane feels...

I admire people involved in marine salvage. Guts and knowledge. Oh yes!

Not to downplay what they dphave done, it is amazing, but, how often does a team of engineers get an unlimited budget to do something like this?

    $800 Million Budget

Yes, they sure are running up a tab, but wow, what an accomplishment.

I wonder what this crew (engineers and tradesmen) could've done with the raising of the Russian Submarine K-129? Hughes, the CIA and the Glomar Explorer.

Huge projects like this always draws my interest!!! I love it!!

“There’s no plan B” Franco Gabrielli, head of Italy’s civil protection agency in charge of the Concordia emergency, said at a press conference Sept. 12 in Rome.
