Hi ,
I have a 3 phase irem rectifier and I was wondering whether it would be possible to make a single ph rectifier out of it? I don't mean convert the existing unit As I believe that could be done with large caps but would it not be possible to cannibalise it and make a single ph 230 v rec? The unit powers a xenon lamp house on a cinema projector. Thanks

If this is a simple 3ph bridge just use two inputs for a 1ph bridge equivalent, you can jumper two inputs if you wish, but this does not gain much.
You don't need to cannibalize it.

I missed the fact it was not a simple bridge, I am not familiar with that equipment or application so post#2 does not apply.
