I'd like to control an 8x8 led matrix from my raspberry pi.
The schematic of the led matrix is attached.
Do I need to buy another board to control it or can I somehow do it with gpio on raspberry pi? Or can I buy a few components and put them on a breadboard to control the led matrix through pi.

What do you plan to display? A full motion graphic, a static image, scrolling text, ...
