if you are interested in having your curtains remote controlled you can salvage a transmitter and receiver from remote control car (toys). get to a toy store and buy one then take a digital oscilloscope. place one output of the scope to ground and the other use it to tape signal from the IC use to transmit. by pressing one button of the RF remote you observe which pin output the highest signal. oh just bu mere looking at PCB you can trace the path from the IC used up to the antenna. then remove one resistor and fed your input to it from your PIC you are using to transmit.
