I'm trying to upload a picture online, but for some reason my computer isn't recognizing the data cable for my cell phone. My phone is a samsung katalyst. Any suggestions?

I used the link you gave me and follow the how-to-guide. Ok, now how do you upload a picture? I don't see the data cable/phone on My Computer or when I select browse to upload a file.

Ok what's the model number of the cable?

Have you contacted the place where you bought the phone / cable?

It's also possible it needs a driver for XP.

If you are a Verizon customer, it is highly likely that your phone has been crippled by Verizon. They want to charge you to get pictures off your phone by making you e-mail it to ISP email account. Something like 25 cents per picture. Check out Howard Forums for a lot of information on the subject.
