I have a circuit board which has a component with a label BT 08E (SMD) with only 2 leads in it.
I could not find datasheet in any of the search engines.I sincerely request you to help me find
    details of this component.

    Best Regards

GS has been acquired by Vishay. But search on their website for BT08 does not give any results. Maybe, you could send a mail to them.

ST used to make a BT08, but it was a triac, so it should have 3 pins.
