Component identification

We are a rectifier repair house and occasionally come across a component with no logo or part numbers that can be identified. example... we have an 8 pin surface mount that (seems) to act like a comparator and the only number on it is 201. What I am looking for here is a company or organization that we can send parts to, that they can perform tests on in order to identify it.

Hello,

Can you make a close up photo of the part?

This may give us some more info about the markings and size.

I can't get a photo of it. (too small for my camera) It is an 8 pin smd.
No logo or markings other than 201
Thank you all in advance for any insight.

Pins:
1. n/c
2 & 3 seem to be inputs
4. n/c
5. ground
6. n/c
7. out, goes low and terminates current from an opto.
8. B+ (15 vdc)
