Hi,

I'm pre thinking an idea, but I have some constraints.

I'm looking for a wireless communication chip, that is low voltage & ampage to run.

It needs to transmit 0-5m

It would be better if it could be uniquely identified.

Preferably, it would be cheep!

I'm open for rf / Bluetooth / other

It cannot be susceptible to noise / extreme temperatures (10-60 working range Celsius)

Any ideas?

How about something in the 315 - 430 MHz range. Those are generally less expensive and the range is sometimes up to 100 meters. Perhaps something like...
