Can anyone explain the basic steps to design a single stage amplifier circuit to produce a specific gain?

Lets say I want to design a common emitter amplifier that will amplify a 25m Vp-p input signal to again of -24, assuming that β = 160

What values should I choose for the resistors and capacitors?

dude tell me if u get the solution for this problem ..... i've been looking for this since quite a long time .... got a few solutions bt they didnt really work .... so i thought of using a op amp .... bcz its very easy to make an op amp of the gain u require .... if u get the solution do email it to me at kahafeez@gmail.com plz
