    Hi,
I have found that in Vector Scan Displays we have only one electronic gun as compared to 3 in raster scan displays. How we achieve coloring with one gun only?
    Kindly guide me.

    Zulfi.

What do you mean by coloring.?

Single gun produces the color that is in the phosphor screen.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
This means its only available for monochrome displays with pixel values from 0-255??

    Hello,

The intensity of the beam will have different intensities on the phosfor screen.
This can be done with an analog input for intensity modulation.
This is called Z-modulation in oscilloscopes.
