Can someone suggest a website i can get infos on damping in RLC (series and parallel).I am trying to get the values of the coefficients of the various damping conditions.

Thanx for all the help and time

I googled using the phrase "rlc circuit" and the keyword "damping" and this site popped up.

Damping equations

Take a look at this info to see if is helps shed light on the topic. You may want to try the google search using the same phrase and keyword I indicated and review some of the other sites that are out there on the Internet.

If things are still unclear after that, you can return with specific questions about the material you encountered.

Using the same google keyword and phrase, I found another site worth visiting.

thanx hgmjr,
i have come across this earlier.
i am acually trying to figure out the values of the coefficients.how u arrive at them.

overdamped in the case of series rlc gives the solution
A1exp s1t+A2 exp s2t

how do u get the values of A1 and A2?
