I am willing to build my own 3 axis CNC machine - the stepper motors are basically already chosen, but there is a problem with my knowledge, that I don't know what driver would be suitable for these stepper motors. I wan't to build this serial port controlled driver myself and the circuit board is needed. Could anybody please help me with this circuit board? I would be very thankful.

Are you trying to build your own drivers or buy a ready-made driver?

That is an adequate driver for your motors.

 

I am willing to build my own driver circuit board from my PC to the 3 stepper motors. I don't wan't buy one, because I wan't to understand the full circuit and how it works; and I wan't to build it suitable for these stepper motors, so there is no waste of my budget for electrical components I don't need.

 

I would recommend searching the forum.

Many folks have built cnc machines, and have driver schematics posted here.

 

If you don't mind operating the steppers as unipolar, you could also look at Roman Black's open-source LiniStrepper.
