Hi
I am getting truly obsessed with the idea of building a synthesizer with NO knobs that just runs by itself.
It can have a random result, thats ok.
So far, the idea of using feedback shift registers as input data seems the "easiest."
Any other suggestions for a somewhat simplistic way to get some 555 timers dancing without user input?

Thanks all,
Max

I seem to remember a pseudo random number generator that was a 8pin chip. You need something like that to do it well.

I remember someone came up with a way to translate DNA into notes, I think it used clusters of 3 and treated them like bits. The result was surprisingly musical.
