I'm planning a new rocket igniter, I want to incorporate an audible alert on starting the ignition timer.
Basically a momentary button is pressed to start a monostable 555, at the end of its time period it triggers a second monostable 555 to conduct to the igniter via a MOSFET.
The countdown period is 5s or so, but I don't want a 5s tone, just an audible 'chirp' or beep....
Can anyone suggest an easy way to do this??
I know I could do what I want by triggering a second pair of 555's off the output of the first one above, but seems a bit clunky....
Thanks
Lee
