    plz tell how it works , what is the high impedence state of microcontroller , apart from controlling leds any other application......

    The best way to think of the Hi-Z state is the pin is connected to "nothing" rather than a voltage level.

    The technique is mainly used for LEDs due to their low current requirements, and the low current source/sink capabilities of microcontroller I/O pins.
