Hello,
I need some help designing Solar panel charge controller with a maximum power of 250Am. The charge controller must be able to control solar panel and and battery for shouting off and on.
Thank you.

Post the manufacturer and part number of your battery, or post it's specifications/datasheet.

Also post the manufacturer and part number of your solar panel, or post it's specifications/datasheet.

I think you mean 250mA instead of 250Am.

You don't need a charge controller for that small amount of current.

Just use a diode so that the solar panel won't drain the battery when the solar panel voltage becomes less than the battery voltage.

Hi There,

I posted my schematic for my charge controller here: http://backyardsolar.blogspot.com/

Be warned that this is a work in progress and there are problems with the current version. It may give you some idea of how to handle the high and low voltage issues with the battery (this is for a lead acid battery BTW). I also have a motor controller on there. Let me know if you have any questions.
