Hi,

I have an electric motor that is converted from 110V to 220V and I have a start capacitor with a value of 6 microF, Universal 250V.AC 50/60Hz. I assembled it and plug it to 220V outlet at first it is rotating then I unplugged it. after 2 days I tried to plug it again but its not functioning what could be the possible reason why is not rotating this time? How will I test if my motor is still functional? Thanks I hope you will answer my concern.

 

I would check the place where you made the connections to change the voltage. Maybe one of the connections has come loose?
