Center tapped transformer question

    I'm quite new with electricity/electronics, so I have a basic question. I'm looking for the secondary voltage of a center tapped transformer that has a primary voltage of 240V and a ratio of 1.25.

    Do I take half of 240 (120) and divide it by 1.25 to find the voltage in each tap?

    Presumably the ratio is 1.25:1, primary winding to total secondary winding.

    Then, yes to your statement - or simply divide 240 by 2.5 to get the voltage per half secondary relative to the center tap point.
