Hi,

I'd like to research the field of cellular network and cellular chips.

I started with Wikipedia but it seems very complicated and was wondering whether you got any other good sources which can give me good insights about this field.

Thank you :)

Thank you very much.

I have a question about the subject please.

It's said that if you reduce the power (radius) of each cell by 2, then you get 4 (2^2) times more channels.

Why is the quadratic relation?

Kind of like a CB radio had channels.

The whole system is a mess to try and understand what with all the different carriers sometimes sharing towers and such, and the way the radios have to switch channels if you move into a cell where the one you were on is alaready in use.

I know it's complicated but I really want to understand it.

Is there anywhere (forum, article) I can consult and read about it?
